Peterborough Community Hub

The Peterborough Community Hub is open to all community members to access support, resources and information about services within Peterborough.

The Food Pantry offers basic items to community members at affordable prices. To be eligible to access the Pantry you must have a current healthcare/pension card then sign up for free membership.

Additional services offered at the Peterborough Community Hub include: Emergency Financial Assistance, Micro Finance Loans, and programs for parents and families. Personal details may be needed to receive services attend groups, workshops or information sessions.

Opening Hours

The Peterborough Community Hub is located at 205 Main Road, Peterborough. We are open Monday to Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Hours can vary at short notice or during the Christmas / New Year holidays. Please contact the Peterborough Hub Liaison Officer on (08) 8633 9088 for all enquiries.

Port Pirie Community Centre

Uniting Country SA's Port Pirie Community Centre is a hub where all members of the community can meet, share and learn. The Centre provides a wide range of services and resources for the general public to access, in particular individuals, youth and families experiencing financial hardship.
Parham Street Centre

Uniting Country SA's Parham Street Centre is a multipurpose location located in the heart of Port Pirie. This location offers several different services including workshops, kitchen facilities, and a conference center. We also provide education services to teach basic skills in cooking, home repairs, metal and woodwork, and more.

Uniting Country SA's Domestic Violence services provide support to people in regional South Australia who are dealing with domestic and family violence in their lives.

Money worries should not stop you from leaving a violent partner. The Escaping Violence Payment is available to anyone who is experiencing violence from their partners.
Uniting Country Housing (UCH)

Uniting Country Housing is a community housing provider with a number of properties across the region for eligible clients. Housing is limited to low-income families and individuals.
Homelessness Services

The Yorke and Mid North and Coober Pedy Generic Homelessness Services provides support and housing / accommodation options for homeless people and those at risk of homelessness in regional South Australia. Families, single adults, youth and couples can access support from the service
